How DRX9000™ & DRX9000C™ Spinal Decompression Works

The DRX9000™ and DRX9000C™Spinal Decompression Systems work by gently separating the vertebrae above and below the involved disc. This separation causes a negative pressure to be exerted on the disc creating a vacuum effect. The negative pressure draws the bulge or herniation back within the disc space similar to an eyedropper drawing in fluid. In the case of degenerative disc disease, the negative pressure draws fluids, nutrients and oxygen from the surrounding tissues, resulting in disc rehydration and repair.

Normal disc

A normal disc is a shock absorbing structure that separates the vertebrae that protect your spinal cord. Injury and wear can make discs lose their fluid and compress.

Herniated disc and bone spurs

By gently separating the vertebrae above and below the involved disc, the DRX9000 and DRX9000C allow fluids, nutrients and oxygen to be drawn into the disc which results in repair.
